Important - What you should know
Every Employer has legal duty to:
1. Register with HMRC.
2. Register each and every new starter to whom they pay wages on their payroll whether regular hours or not depending on whether they are paid above the PAYE threshold and have any other employment.
3. Deduct PAYE (Pay as You Earn) tax and National Insurance contributions (NICs) from your employees' pay.
4. You are required to report this information to HMRC each time you pay an employee.
5. You must also give your employees a pay statement and maintain adequate records of how much has been paid and any deductions made.
6. After you have run your weekly/monthly payroll and sent your Full Payment Submission (FPS) to HMRC, you must pay any tax and NICs due to HMRC by a set date. If these payments are made late, penalties and interest may be charged

3. Request a list of amendments from the client.

Deductions
